I've discovered that there is a Bell&Doyle book not written by Pirie and I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT IT. I already bought it and can't wait to get my hands on it. LIKE.

One reviewer described it as "snappy, bright, and breezy". Bear in mind that we are talking about a crime mystery taking place in the Victorian Edinburgh :D

I ended up introducing a bunch of old ladies to Project Gutenburg a couple years ago after I first found out about it. I was with my mom in the waiting room at an eye doctor's office where there were all these older ladies. One woman had her e-reader with her and asked me what book I was reading (I had a hardback I'd just bought with me at the time and she thought it must be a good book since I was so into it) and at some point the conversation led to me mentioning Project Gutenburg and suddenly like four other ladies all at once turned to me and were like "Wait, it has free books? What's it called again?" My mom thought it was hilarious.
