This is part of the reason I basically forged a brand new identity for myself on the net a couple of days ago. I realized that the people I was hanging with in my fandoms fell into one of those two camps, and it was really giving me a headache. So, I cut myself off, backtracked a bit, and I hope I can just enjoy myself without messing around with people who are either thinking I'm taking things too seriously or dumb as a brick.
