That's actually why I love the canon ACD stories the best. I mean, of COURSE it's going to have ridiculous Victorian "science" in it and stuff we roll our eyes at in today's society! Besides, the actual jokes intended in the original material always made me laugh out loud. The Reigate Puzzle will always be one of my favorites!
