yes. I relate to the Vulcan ideal of rationality and control specifically because I make a terrible Vulcan and no one would ever mistake me for one. I relate to Sam Carter's cheerful awkwardness and Pepper Potts' commitment and competency, but I am neither a career military super-genuis scientist nor personal assistant to a billionaire inventor / metal suit guy. The list could go on basically forever.
