Would you have been willing to try to work on your fear if they had given you that option?

I'm considering applying for an internship that says you need to be comfortable around ladders. If I go for it then I'm going to do my best to get past my own fear of heights, but still if someone asked me if I was afraid of heights I would answer yes. Doesn't mean I wouldn't try to work on that problem so I would be pretty upset if they let me go immediately after hearing that.

I like to think I would have I guess I just accepted them redirecting me because I thought they would do like the last place did and just shift me to another job.

That was my mistake I guess.
