Best topping? Vegetables. Especially tomatoes. I also like pineapple/jalepeno combo.

Local pizza is really good. One place does good spinach/artichoke, one place does good Hawaiian, one place does good weird toppings like buffalo chicken and gyro.

Coolest pizza I've ever eaten is the one I made my self because it's the better than anyplace else. I put tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, jalepeno, pineapple, bell pepper and basil on a pita with chipotle olive oil and cook it until the cheese melts and veggies get a little soft. It's yummy and now I'm hungry- thanks op.
