I'm really bad with money, so I do a weekly budget - my practical budget is 200€/week to spend on anything I need or want to buy. That's after taxes, saving contracts and bills, using the "5 weeks in a month method".

I don't have a car or a house, but it feels like I'm fairly well off considering that I'm the only earner in my two-person household and we can basically buy anything we could possibly want right now with a bit of planning.
