I wasn't clear about this in my secret but the money was split amongst my family, which was a single parent family. The reason my share has lasted so long is because a) our previous situation had beaten a cheapskate mentality in to my head. B) I have no clue how to spend that much money in the first place.

Thank you all for the support and advice. It really means a lot to me :)

I hear you on the a) and b), but also on the "do my best not to rub it into people who don't have my luck". I guess just keep doing what you're doing to avoid stepping on people's toes since money is such a sensitive issue?
