Re: Let's talk pizza!

I dislike the bigpizza chains because their pizzas tend to be dripping in oil. Eagle Boys (Australian chain) is not much better, but in absence of anything else I will take them over Pizza Hut and Dominoes.

I prefer Pizza Capers (Queensland chain), which is a bit higher quality the PH, Dom and EB, but likewise are also more expensive too.

My favourite though is a small chain that apparently originated in Byron Bay and there is like only two stores in the whole Brisbane, name Earth and Sea. Like Pizza Capers though, their higher quality also comes with a higher price tag, but it's the sort of thing that, if it's a special occasion, it's worth it.
My biggest problem these days is that without a car, Mum and I can't go to either of the stores in the city, so we're more likely to rely on Pizza Capers, which has a store down around the corner.

My favourite type of pizza is barbeque chicken, without bacon or ham included. If there's something like spinach, all the better. I also like getting olives and pineapple added if not already present.

I have fond memories of a pizza with a creamy sauce as an option that I bought a few times in the first year I was in Brisbane and was sharing a room with Mum just around the corner from a Pizza Haven store (that chain eventually collapsed, and it was on par with Pizza Hut and Dominoes for quality).
