Seriously OP, if people use you as an ATM they aren't your friend. I have friends who are very well off compared to me but wouldn't dream of taking money from them. It's life, you have to get used to people having different financial situations. You can't go around rescuing them, and they need to work things out for themselves.

I also never tell them about my debts etc, it's not their problem. The only way it affects me to be honest is that I don't invite them over to my house, as they all have much bigger/much nicer places. But I know they wouldn't care, it's just that I do.

Don't worry about it, just carry on with your life, I do agree with you that it sounds like you are best not to advertise your money, but even so, it really shouldn't matter. Don't feel guilty, I would say lucky yes, but you didn't cause their problems.
