Days of Future Past and the Superman vs. Batman movie.

I hate hate hated XMFC, so of course it pisses me off that one of my favourite comic storylines is being gutted and used for the sequel to that travesty. To add insult to injury, they replaced Kitty with Wolverine.

As for why I'm not looking forward to Superman vs. Batman... well, that's self-explanatory, isn't it? I mean, Ben Affleck, are you fucking kidding me.

You hated XMFC too! Oh, come here and let us embrace. I thought I was the only one. Everyone I know just loves that movie to bits and I thought it was an awful piece of sexist, plot holed riddled trash. (Which is sad because I love almost every actor in that movie.)

And I am not looking forward to Superman vs. Batman after watching Man of Steel. Thanks for ruining the Kents, Snyder.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY. Not to mention the racism (Darwin dies because THE BLACK DUDE HAS TO DIE FIRST, even though his powers logically would have saved him), and the way it undermines and retcons the Xavier/Magneto friendship (they know each other for what, a few weeks, and we're expected to buy that it's this EPIC TRAGEDY when they're suddenly on different sides what the everloving fuck).

And as much as I like Jennifer Lawrence, she was so awkward and wrong as Mystique it was fucking painful to watch.

/sorry for the mini-rant I have strong opinions on this topic.

Yes, Darwin is supposed to be able to adapt to anything. Hence the superhero name of DARWIN.

And I love Lawrence too but, yeah, she was wrong for Mystique especially when you had Rebecca Romijin playing Mystique as ultra cool, stealthy and cunning. And, yet, Lawrence's Mystique was none of that. She could have played her with the slightest inkling of what she was to become. Instead, Lawrence's Mystique came across as a catty school girl with a huge need to grow the hell up.

I hate him so much for ruining the Kents. But the Kents are forever and he can't ruin them if I don't look.

Yes yes yes yes yes to everything about XMFC and Days of Future Past! And I say this as a huge Wolverine fan. I don't even really mind Hugh Jackman's Wolverine but something about DoFP just sets me off.

I don't really care about Superman or Batman movies, anyways, but SvB sounds particularly bad.

I like Hugh Jackman's Wolverine too! But I still think he shouldn't get so much focus if it means other characters are getting shafted.

D: I love the XMFC movie. It is my favorite X-Men movie to be honest. But as I said to another anon, I might be biased because I love Fassbender.

And yeah, I don't think anyone has high hopes for Superman vs. Batman.

I will say one thing in favour of XMFC, it's got some damn good actors.

As for Superman vs. Batman, you'd be surprised. A lot of people are excited because WONDER WOMAN ON THE BIG SCREEN. Personally, I don't think it's going to end well. Her movie debut isn't even her movie!

DC is just trying too hard to get what Marvel has with the MCU. It is too late for them. Much too late.
