Re: Beer!

I've never found a typical beer that I really like. I don't like the bitterness of hops. I've found a few that are passable if beer is my only choice, like Sam Adams Dark, but AFAIC, hard cider becoming popular is the best thing to ever.

That said, I do like some lambics, which is a pretty sweet fruit beer (or beer type thing), and a Corona with lime really is the best accompaniment to a big plate of Tex-Mex food, especially when served on a restaurant's patio on a warm night (which in Texas could be in any season).

Wow, I always forget about lambics, and I have no idea why, because they're sooooo gooooood.

I was pretty pumped when I discovered lambics. "At last! A beer I like!" Too bad they're expensive & can be hard to find.

You can order them online. I happen to live next to a liquor store that carries no less than five types of lambics, so I guess I'm just lucky.

Oh I can get them in stores here, they're not hard to find, but brew pubs rarely have them available. I just think it would be fun to be able to order a lambic in a pub, but I've only been able to do it once or twice.
