Articles written in second person. You don't know me, stop telling me what I think!

Anyone telling me what I think or like, or arguing with me about it when I tell them (arguing as in "You don't really like X" not "You like X? Well, I hate X.")

People who won't stop trying to talk to me while I'm doing schoolwork in the library, or browsing in a store, or whatever. Leave me alone, I didn't come here to socialize.

Charity people by the subway or at the mall. No, I'm not going to sign your petition or whatever, get out of my face and stop trying to guilt me into doing something I don't want to.

YES the first one kills me. I actually like second person in fiction, but when it's a non-fiction essay about a bunch of shit I am being assured that I do, or guiding me down the dark Brooklyn stairs into a weird new club or something like a text adventure game from the 90s? nope. nope.

I also hate it when Social Trend Stories use "we" to analyze things I don't actually do, e.g., "We spend more time checking Kim Kardashian's Twitter feed than we do talking to our kids." Dude, speak for yourself!

Sorry, though -- I might have been one of those trying-to-talk-to-you people. I usually like it when people talk to me and sometimes I forget that other people don't. I'll try to be more sensitive in the future.

YES this makes me fucking rage like nothing else. I hate being bothered by them when I'm just trying to walk somewhere and they're EVERYWHERE downtown.
