She's from District 2. District 1 and 2 are career tributes. She filed her teethafter her initial games because, that's something a career tribute would do and yes, to tear out more throats if possible.

Career tributes volunteer (they're also chosen very young and trained specificly FOR the games and nothing else, there's a reason so many winners were from those 2 districts) when it's time for the games, so it's quite possible she's been in more than one game.

This was all briefly mentioned in the books, but not the movies as much.

Enoby isn't nearly as hideous as I expected. Pull the top of her skirt up enough to cover her undies, and that would actually be a decent character design for an over-the-top late-Final-Fantasy-style world.

I was so happy when I found a site saying (speculating?) that Enobaria is a feminine form of Enobarbus (Ahenobarbus), which is a legitimate Roman name. If we had a culture where Roman names came back in a big way, this is exactly the kind of adaptation and transformation we'd start to see.

I thought they were Shakespeare references. I mean, you have:

The aforementioned Enobaria (Enobarbus was a character in Antony & Cleopatra)

Coriolanus Snow (Coriolanus is the title of one of his later plays.)

Octavia (there was a character named Octavius in Antony & Cleopatra and in Julius Caesar)

Cinna (a character in Julius Caesar)

Cato (another character in Julius Caesar)

Lavinia (a character in Titus Andronicus)

Wasn't there a character named Caesar in THG? I think there was. And I feel like there are other examples, but I can't recall any at the moment.

The land is called Panem and the HG are a clear parallel to the ludi (gladiator games) so yeah, SC was def inspired by Roman culture.
