I thought Elsa had both selfish reasons and reasons that were about what was best for Anna. Isn't that how these things usually go with family?

Is there a lot of talk about how wonderful she was for telling Anna not to marry someone she just met that I haven't seen?

I just see a lot of "the coronation disaster was all Anna's fault!" and "Elsa was so completely right why did Anna have to be such a brat?!" Which bothers me, because when it comes down to it, Elsa was pretty much saying that her sister would have to stay a hermit for no reason for the rest of her life, or get the hell out. Elsa trying to control Anna without thinking about Anna's feelings wasn't particularly noble of her.

Hmm, I haven't seen that. That's sad. I think Anna is adorable and that you have a good point. Elsa was being reasonable this time and it would have all worked out if Anna had listened to her but there's no telling what would have happened if Anna had met someone more suitable and threatened Elsa's secrecy.
