Time is frozen and it's just you, so no.

Do I know this is going to happen? If so, can I bring some financial books? Or will my cellphone work?

No. It's sudden and you had no warning. Your cell phone wouldn't work if time is frozen. What would it access?

You can download all of wikipedia to your phone. But I will assume that did not happen.

So, all the money in the world. Since I have no access to anything, I have zero knowledge about world finances.

I'll give 30,000 to each adult. Each child will receive 15,000 to be managed by a responsible adult. This will cover expenses for that person for a year.

The remaining money I will keep for myself. When I leave my time loop, I will contact all the world leaders. I'll tell them I now have all the money in the world and that I am the only one who can access it. We will then hold a conference with consultants and figure out how to distribute the money together.

If this takes longer than a year, the 30,000/15,000 will be distributed again to everyone except the politicians holding up negotiations. This will continue until there is a compromise.

Evil Kaijin would probably deal with this very differently.

Entire world economies would collapse. Governments would have no funding. Schools would shut down. So would any big organization that needs business capital, including utilities and food distribution.

We wouldn't last a year.

And I'll add this. Adults don't get money if they don't do their job.

Completely destroying the system doesn't work, because all money has no intrinsic worth. It only has the power we give to it through believing it's worth something. The stability of the system is what gives money its worth.

If you wrecked that, governments would likely reject your terrorism and go on without you. Even if countries couldn't get their money back from you, they can always create their own new brand new currencies and distribute it out, if you completely destroy the system they used to have and make their old money valueless.

Then I take all the money from celebrities I dislike and hire assassins to kill everyone I don't like. I use the remaining money to pay off student loans and buy my family some houses.
