To be fair, Elsa did try to talk to Anna one-on-one ("Can I talk to you please? ALONE?") presumably to explain her secret, and it wasn't until Anna denied her request that Elsa completely shut down and said, "You can't marry a man you just met."

But that said, I kind of agree with the OP. Elsa is so CLEARLY uncomfortable when Anna says "Wait, would we live here?" (the way Elsa's jaw kind of drops and says "HERE?!" always makes me laugh, btw) that her rejection of the entire relationship comes off as pretty selfish. The way she tells Hans to leave implies that she doesn't want Anna to see him at all, which is a lot more harsh than it needed to be. I (and Anna, probably) would have understood better if Elsa kept a level head and said, "You two are moving too fast, try courting for a bit and see where this goes" but instead she just straight up tells Hans to go. Of course, I can't blame Elsa for not keeping a level head, not after everything she's been through, but I do understand where the OP is coming from. Elsa's motives for rejecting the marriage did seem a little more selfish to me than other fans seem to admit, and that's probably why Anna got so upset with her in the first place.

It's not entirely selfish when you realize that more people running around means higher chances of killing someone.
