lol I never said there weren't any problems. My point is that the narrow definition of dark skin tone that usually gets thrown around isn't an indicator of inequality in a lot of places. Anti-blackness, of course, but taking the secret as an example, most of the people in the scene from the show were probably middle class and that's the median tone for that country so no, you don't get to say that any dark skin tends to lead to inequality everywhere.

Racism isn't the same in western and eastern Asia or Africa either. It's not that the west hasn't had its hand in creating problems but many, MANY of those cultures came up with their own prejudices against much darker skin tones (usually that it signaled someone of a lower class because they worked under the sun more) away from white supremacy so not everyone's going to be, or HAS to be as concerned about a show that doesn't pertain to their experience as much as you think it does.
