Congrats to your dad!

Um, I found out that my parents don't think I'm a lazy bum. They do think that my brother's girlfriend needs to get a job and when my brother and her called to ask for money and they responded with that, she tried to justify it by saying that they are supporting me and my dad just told them not to bring me into it and hung up on them. And then I overheard them ranting about how my situation is different and how dare she talk about me like that.

I've been feeling really guilty about being out of school and unemployed so that was really nice to hear.

It's a really great feeling when your parents stand up for you like that. I'm in a somewhat similar situation, so I understand how much of a relief it is to hear that kind of thing from your family.
