In other words, I do know that CLAMP does have yaoi pairings and don't deny those.
It's some of the other fandoms that erk me

Oh, I know, I think you meant more like, people who ship stuff even with ZERO basis in canon and deny the actual pairings and just ship everyone with someone so they can have their buttsex? I am aware that there're people who do this, and it's just as annoying as those who do the opposite.

But I hate the fact that it's directed towards only yaoi fanbrats when there're 'het' fanbrats as well, and the rant/secret could've been directed towards both?

Well, at least it's nice to know you do agree :3 Some people will say the exact same thing but just out of spite against yaoi cause.. dunno, yaoi's bad, mmkay.

^_^ Yeah because really, I do like the occacional yaoi and have alot of friends who like it but sometimes the pairings people come up with make me go "O.o??!"

I get what you mean, but... Hell, the thing is, I ship who I want to ship, because of the chemistry between them. If I love how two (or more) characters interact, I could ship them. It's not to do with the "omg buttsecks" or "omg lesbeans," or even being a "het fanbrat."

Taking Ouran as an extreme example, just to show... I ship Tamaki/Haruhi a LOT. I also ship Kyouya/Tamaki. And Hikaru/Kaoru. And Hikaru/Haruhi. And Kyouya/Kaoru, or Hikaru/Kaoru/Tamaki, or Hikaru/Kaoru/Haruhi. Or pretty much any combination of any or all of them. Because I just love the way they interact, and the idea of them (any of them) in a more serious/romantic/sexual relationship intrigues me. I forsee myself getting bitched at, sometime in the future, by people who want things to be Completely Canon and think I'm just a yaoi fangirl if I post anything Kyouya/Tamaki, and possibly (in some circles) bitched at by some Kyou/Tama fans for not being "openminded" enough to appreciate their "pure" pairing if I pair Tamaki with "that frigid Haruhi bitch" (I've... actually seen her described as that, wtf).

........ W-wow ramble. MY POINT BEING, besides that I write too much, just that... I know people that are idiotic and instist a canon pairing is not canon because it gets in the way of their omgperfect ship exist, and they really do sorta suck. But painting in such broad strokes doesn't give people credit when they just... enjoy a pairing because they enjoy that pairing.

I would ship KuroFai if they were gay, lesbians, or straight. A-and I sorta have. orzzzzz

I do agree that hardcore yaoi fanbrats are annoying as hell, but making a generalisation like that one is quite offensive. I-if you couldn't tell by all the people going 'wtf no' at you and all.
