I would nope out of this community with the speed of light. Fans actively invading the creators ` privacy and being generally disrespectful is my nightmare. I get weirdly protective of the creators of my canons, and even if rpf people are not being harmful, I feel weird about interacting with them in the context of the fandom in question.

But then again, it's my sore spot. So, if they're not harassing the members of the band, maybe you can remain a member of the comm and just cut down on your own contribution to such discussions. Depends on how uncomfortable you are.

I can't ever really be okay with RPF of any kind. Normal social lines get crossed way too easily in those circles for my comfort.
