Re: Horror genre rant with major Hannibal spoilers

I've been laughing about this for a week now (or two? since the cliffhanger). It's really just people throwing a tantrum because their favorite character died and trying to justify it as not just something about personal preference.

Can the horror genre be questioned? Of course. Are some of the tropes sexist? Absolutely. But these people have been watching a show about a cannibal that worships its protagonist so much it'd make the messiah the victim of the week if it made Hannibal look scarier. No one was ever safe from being served as dinner. Honestly I don't know what people expected.
