Yeaaaaah, that's why I tend to cringe away from most "Femininity is POWER! GIRL POWER YEAH! I step on men with my high heels!!" It all feels very try hard and almost cartoony. I just can't take it seriously. And it certainly doesn't empower me.
Especially since I'm not really feminine. I wear dresses sometimes, but I don't really wear makeup or high heels or what. Don't have a problem with it, but it's not my thing. I don't think a lot of Tumblr feminists realize that not all people are empowered by the same things.
