I'm the other way round -- pro gay rights but don't like slash. But if you say you don't like slash, people often assume you're anti gay rights... That makes no sense to me. I just read and write het because it's my own sexual preference.

Me too. I ship probably at least 90% het because it's what I relate to more. (Not that there's anything wrong with being straight and shipping slash, but everyone ships differently/for different reasons.)

heh. me too. I'm not anti-slash, and if you put it in front of me, I might even like it, but it's not what I seek out or where my mind goes first.
