Might as well make this a Harry/Draco rec thread, right?
No, I'm totally not bookmarking this thread to go on a Draco/Harry nostalgia spree when I have something resembling free time, why do you ask?I've been out of the fandom for two or three years, now, and the Draco/Harry fandom is old and large, so along with all the stuff I've missed in the last few years, I probably missed a lot of the older stuff to begin with.Let's give secret OP a
suffocatinglywarm welcome to the fandom! :PRe: Might as well make this a Harry/Draco rec thread, right?
(Anonymous) 2014-03-30 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)the complete works of maya (no longer available online but there are hundreds of pdfs floating around online if you search for them since maya is arguably the most famous h/d writer. "drop dead gorgeous" and "underwater light" are my favourite d/h fics of all time)
sam's (aka sam_storyteller aka copperbadge) fics - http://goo.gl/fqfjtH
Re: Might as well make this a Harry/Draco rec thread, right?
(Anonymous) 2014-03-31 04:38 am (UTC)(link)Might have to go reread them now, it's been a least a a year since I read them last...
Re: Might as well make this a Harry/Draco rec thread, right?
(Anonymous) 2014-03-31 11:13 am (UTC)(link)I agree that most if not all Draco/Harry fics are OOC, but I really don't care, I still like them. I actually don't care much for the original canon anymore. There's just this strange allure to Drarry, I don't even read eny other fanfiction anymore or participate in fandom, but I think I'll never stop reading about Harry and Draco.

(Anonymous) 2014-04-04 08:53 am (UTC)(link)A easier to read but enjoys politics just as much blamebrampton (http://archiveofourown.org/users/blamebrampton/pseuds/blamebrampton)
writcraft (http://archiveofourown.org/users/Writcraft/pseuds/Writcraft), which tends to be darker things, but I love them.
Now the War is Over (http://archiveofourown.org/works/840008) by raitala, who is an amazing artist and writer.
Anything by Vaysh, but I'm going to pick When the Clock Stopped (http://archiveofourown.org/works/831186), because I just have thing for time being messed with.
I feel like I'm giving away who I am just by my recs, but this one shouldn't be a surprise based on the ones above:
H/D Level Two (http://hd-level-two.livejournal.com/32012.html) or if you're short on time or not a huge H/D fan at least check out the art (http://hd-level-two.livejournal.com/42857.html).
If anyone is interested in what the H/D fandom is doing right now:
hd_remix (http://hd-remix.livejournal.com/69710.html) just posted their guessing poll, which doubles as an anon masterlist.
hd_familyfest (http://hd-familyfest.livejournal.com/9387.html) have posted their reveals.
dracotops_harry (http://dracotops-harry.livejournal.com/) is posting now.
hd_hurtfest (http://hd-hurtfest.livejournal.com/) is posting now.
I can't rec any of these specifically from my own perspective, because I'm way behind on reading. But I've heard a lot of good things about Stop All the Clocks (http://hd-hurtfest.livejournal.com/6364.html)
