I get your annoyance, but...I also feel like the reason people make secrets out of that type of feeling is that they know it's irrational and childish.

It's kind of easy to lose sight of the fact that the reason people submit shit to F!S is that they either a) can't say something because it's against their fandom's norms or b) won't say something because they know it's ridiculous. I think this falls under case b. And, well, we all feel things that we know are ridiculous, and it's completely okay to feel them as long as we don't act on them.
