Back on LiveJournal, in certain quarters, liking makeup would get you called a ~choice feminist, and the social justice types would lecture you: nobody said you're not allowed to wear makeup or heels, but don't think your choices are made in a vacuum. Which totally meant "your choices are wrong and bad and I judge you for them."

Ugh, yeah, I remember that crap. I didn't encounter it in regards to make-up, but I did encounter it in regards to choosing to shave and choosing to stay at home.

It's like, guys, do you not understand that you are doing the same crap that you supposedly hate the patriarchy for doing?
