hey, don't feel bad because you need to prioritize insurance and food over video games, ok? i'm sure bioware would appreciate the money, but right now you need it more than they do.

if you play on pc maybe you could buy a digital copy on steam when it goes on sale? i did just that this winter and i paid like 6€ for mass effect 1 and 2. it's not the same as a physical copy but you're still giving something back to the people who worked on it.

Steam sales are the best, but unfortunately, 3's only found on Origin for stupid, stupid reasons. It's probably the biggest problem on Steam. So if that might bug you, think about it.

Dunno what kind of sales Origin (EA's service) offers, but they're probably not as frequent and drastic as Steam.

They're not often but keeping an eye on Amazon is not a bad idea either. I scored a copy of ME3 Deluxe on Amazon (digital, activates on Origin) for like...$7 a while back. There's also this site which lets you see when/where a game is on sale and I think it lets you set an alert if it drops to a certain price too.
I scored all my games on sale which...only kind of took the sting out of paying so much for the DLC, ughhhhhh.

Damn, I forgot all about Amazon. And that site's brilliant: thanks!

This. Put 1 and 2 on your wishlist on Steam and buy them when they go on sale.

I'm still a bit bitter you have to use Origin for ME3. idk if they have sales.

For a long time I considered stealing ME3 but then I decided to just shrug it off and get it for Christmas.

It takes a bit of fuckery but it's totally possible to play it through Steam.
