From worst to less worse:

Quantum Leap
The Pretender
Angel - I didn't hate it, but it wasn't that great
Brothers & Sisters
Friends - but only because I was so over Ross/Rachel

What was so bad about The Pretender finale? I can't recall it at all, though I know I must've watched because I was all about that show when it was on.

Well, if you just go by the series, it ended with a giant explosion cliffhanger. If you go by the string of made for TV movies, which completely ignore Jarod's father and the romance Jarod had at the end of the series, it ends with prophecies on scrolls in Ireland.

Yes. Prophecies about a boy named Jarod on scrolls hidden in Ireland.

Ah, now I do recall the giant explosion cliffhanger!

I...did not even know the TV movies were made. They sound awful.

Oh man, how could I forget Quantum Leap. I was seething at the "never gets home".

"Never gets home" bothered me, for sure, but I think what bothered me the most was that the Sam/Al friendship was so integral to the series, and it was the last 44 minutes of Sam and Al the world would ever see, and Sam and Al were hardly together at all.
