(Anonymous) 2014-04-05 07:41 am (UTC)(link)If you are reading this for school, there is something wonderful about writing about works you hate with a passion. I got an HD (High Distinction) on my essays about Picnic at Hanging Rock and Wuthering Heights, explaining how they were awful and why. A just 'this is crap because this' is not enough in critical thinking. WH was my lit lecturer's favourite novel and she gave me an HD for an essay about how much it sucked because I had a solid and sound argument.
If you don't have to read it for school, forget all that.
OP
(Anonymous) 2014-04-05 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)We did have to read Animal Farm in school. I mostly ended up pissed off at all the characters for being so extremely stupid.
