I kind of agree. I'm all over creepy, messed up Morgoth/Sauron (and Sauron/Celebrimbor). But the woobified stuff is frustrating, especially when I'm looking for in-character stuff and all I can find is that.

My Celebrimbor OTP is him and Durin III. I totally blame Valandhir for that, even if Telpë was not Thoraine's soulmate.

That's a cool idea too. I just really like the idea of Sauron's seduction of him being literal. The romantic fics are weird, but there are some good ones out there that keep things in character. Makes what happens later even more creepy. What can I say, I have a really warped brain.
