I used my stand-to-pee device in my parent's garden in broad daylight this afternoon, with my parents and siblings and neblings not far away.

What is a stand-to-pee device and why do you have one? Ngl it sounds kind of awesome. Also, what are 'neblings'? And why didn't you just go inside and use the bathroom?

A stand to pee device is a device that people without penises can pee through. Whilst standing!

Well...I did assume that much. I was more curious about what exactly it was. I cannot for the life of me picture it. To the google mobile!

Mine was hand-made from a plastic coat-hanger -> http://erelevilstyle.free.fr/wordpress/wp-content/affiche11.jpg
but many commercial brands exist that are more practical.

A STP is a sort of funnel that persons without a penis (girls or transmen or whatever) can use to, well, pee standing. Personnally I use one because pissing standing and outdoors feels good.

I think that "neblings" (or shouldn't it be "niblings"?) is a term that encompass "nephews and nieces".

Why go indoors and use the bathroom when people-with-penis regularly use trees and hedges in the garden? just 'cause I'm supposed to be "better"-mannered than them? They do so because they say it feels good; I've tried it and I agreee with them.

Hrmmm. My brothers and dad never peed outside in the 'garden' - we had twenty acres, and sure, they probably did out in the woods or something at one point, but if we were all outside having a bbq or whatever, they'd go inside. Nobody wants to watch somebody else pee on the lawn/against a tree/where the roses grow. It's just...impolite and a bit icky. (Pee rather stinks.)

ia.

Hell, if I'm in the woods with no bathroom nearby I'll pee in the woods (female here) and I don't think that's unusual either, but if you're in a civilized place (relative term, yes :P ) it's rude to go in front of people, and everyone just goes inside.

I agree as well. If there's a bathroom reasonably close by, then please just use it. Plus you can't exactly wash your hands outside either.

Guess we live in a different culture. It's not considered okay for men to pee in the yard/garden. In the woods on a hike or a camping trip, sure, but not just out in the everyday life. It's pretty gross to think people are just peeing wherever they feel like it.
