I simply dislike how it's supposed to be cool to like such characters as either of these. I find them repulsive.

I also find it depressing that guy who plays Alfrid was originally slated to play Drogo Baggins, but got diverted into playing a character I find disgusting. I might have liked him if he played Drogo, but now my opinion of him will be coloured by his having played Alfrid instead.

I hope they have someone good-looking for Drogo.

Since when is it cool to like dudes like this? The Gríma fanbase was tiny when I was in it.

Maybe I just frequent places that have a few loud Alfrid or Gríma fans, and see too many people who pahoo the leads simply for being good-looking, like there's something wrong with thinking Thorin is gorgeous.

They cut Drogo and Primula from the movies completely, didn't they?

I can't definitely say, since we have yet to see the third movie. There might be something at the end of the third about Bilbo's life after he returned to the Shire that would include an appearance of Drogo and Primula.

There was a post on TORN that said the prologue to AUJ was supposed to feature Drogo and Primula and then the three film split happened and caused some rearranging... there's been no word of Drogo being recast, though.
