I've honestly never considered this in gendered terms

Some canons have really touchy-feely characters, and some don't. I guess I find this dynamic interesting, but I never thought about it as a male thing or a female thing. (I've been told my father comes from a time where men couldn't be touchy-feely, but that seems really far away to me.)
