They said next episode would be a resonse to CAP so they obviously got something in mind.

It's like a proper comic crossover!

I'm actually more worried about Pietro and Wanda. I'd be happier if they waited until Marvel get the rights to mutants back, before trying to do Wanda and Pietro. I mean, they can't be called mutants, they can't be related Magneto, seems a little bit like they're being wasted if they can't really use their characters fully.

originally they were unconfirmed if they were x-gene or not. Magneto was retconned in as their fahter.

So it works.

Yeah, two: one in the middle, one at the end of the end.

OK, great! All the articles that I've seen that would probably have this information are labeled "spoiler heavy" and none of my friends have seen it yet. Thank you! :)

God bless America is all I have to say to the costuming department.

- The camera work is fucking amazing, and the shots are gorgeous
- I loved that Steve was making friends! :D
- That small child who recognized Steve when Steve goes to the museum at the Smithsonian who adorable!
- I loved that the museum wasn't just about Steve, but about all the Howling Commandoes.
- Peggy showed up! And I was sad! This is not what I signed up for!
- They acknowledged soldiers with PTSD, and I liked that.
- Robert Redford was in the movie, which was an automatic+ because Robert Redford!
- The fight’s are fucking awesome, especially on Steve’s end, like, holy fuck, the moves
- I love Natasha
- Zola was creepy as fuck
- Bucky has a really good puppy dog face ;A;
- I adore Mariah Hill
- Steve’s face when he begs Bucky not to make him go through with fighting him... ;-;
-The music when Steve was falling and the way it was shot, it was so pretty!
- The stinger with the glowstick of doom, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch was beautiful
- And the second stinger with Bucky....

Sebastian Stan and Chris Evans both have really good puppy dog faces and it makes me really sad. ;_;

All the hand-to-hand combat in this movie was so good. Also The Nick Fury battle was beyond awesome.

I really enjoyed it which surprised me considering the first cap movie was my least favourite of the solo Marvel movies. It was solidly acted, directed and paced so I think it was pretty well done over all.

I was also really happy about how they handled the characters. Steve wasn't as big a jerk as he was in the avengers, he got to show a lot more of his personality, and Natasha actually got more character development that wasn't shitty.

I also have to praise the stunts, all the way through the first half of the movie they were so well done I'd find myself wincing at some of the hits the characters took. It was really well blocked to make it more realistic. The realism kind of ended around the time of the climatic battle though. Probably so the standard 'blow shit up' moments could happen.

OT-
In my cinema everyone was really focused on the movie and then one of the dramatic reveals happened and a young girl down the front broke the silence with a "No way". The whole audience just started laughing at her at this really inappropriate moment in the movie.

when was Steve a jerk in the avengers?

When he was dealing with ptsd and was mean to Tony! After all, Tony's the only way that's allowed to be ~mean~ when is dealing with PTSD.

I feel like I need to see it again to give any ~final~ reaction, but I enjoyed it so, so much. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting, but it was a good, solid film that struck a lot of the right cords. For a movie called 'The Winter Soldier' it was a bit light on Bucky Barnes, but I figured that would happen so at least I wasn't massively surprised or disappointed at his few scenes.

I fucking love Steve a lot, he's adorable and kind and honorable and I'm never going to forget that scene between him and Peggy. That was one of the more heartbreaking moments in the MCU so far, and he handled it perfectly. Good job, writers!

Actually, all the relationships stood out to me in this film. I love how Steve and Sam met, why they teamed up (Sam was great, I want more of him, and they handled PTSD nicely), I loved Natasha and Steve's banter and supportive, friendly connection (they are totes becoming bff's), and the Steve and Bucky bits just slaughtered me. Hell, Natasha and Fury's relationship was unexpectedly touching as well; I'd like to see more of that in the future. (Maybe when Marvel gives Black Widow her own film, because she REALLY fucking deserves one. Every screen she had was fantastic and she was one of the best things about WS.)

I loved Maria Hill's part too, even though it was short. I've never watched HIMYM but this woman is a goddess and I love her; she does so much with so little. Has great comedic timing too, and makes looking badass effortless.

I liked the Arnim Zola scene, and was waiting for Alexander Pierce to be revealed as Red Skull. I still can't believe it didn't happen. I'm a little disappointed the Cosmic Cube didn't show up, but not surprised. My shipper heart loves that Bucky didn't need it to remember Steve. (Actually, my shipper heart loves every moment they spent together, even the ones where they were beating the shit out of each other. Maybe even ESPECIALLY those because they were so beautifully choreographed. All the action scenes looked so much more raw and real and brutal in this film; I enjoyed them much more than the ones in previous MCU films.)

On a similar note, I liked how dangerous and competent Steve was here. He was great in Avengers and Cap 1 but didn't come off as particularly lethal. I'm glad they fixed that and that Cap is getting a chance to lead a bit more and show off his skills. (Dat speech! The hand to hand combat! THE ELEVATOR SCENE! Steve is now a bit terrifying, as he should be.)

They did a great job with The Winter Soldier, too. I love they kept the "Who the hell is Bucky?" line, and I love how robotic and emotionless Winter Soldier is until his scene with Steve, and then shortly after where it looks like 'this version' has started to doubt and feel for the first time. Sebastian was so brilliant in the "But I know him" scene; his confused desperation made my heart ache. (Does anyone do puppy dog eyes better than this man? IDK.)

I AM WITH YOU TO THE END OF THE LINE. I loved the parallels of Bucky then Steve falling, and when Cap dropped his shield, holy shit...that was a great moment.

...I just have a lot of feelings about this film, and those aren't even half of them (Cap and Nat being pretend!married, Fury's 'death' scene, Steve failing at hiding the USB drive, Cap single-handedly taking down the helicarrier, Natasha revealing herself near the end, SHIELD agents standing up to Pierce and his orders), and I'm going to shut up now. But I really liked it and wonder where the MCU is going to go from here because boy, they weren't kidding when they said this would be a game changer.

I am really curious about Nat and Fury's relationship, at this point. She was far more upset about him than I was anticipating her being, and they really played it up. I feel like I missed whatever they were getting at.

But you know what I really loved? I loved that there wasn't a bunch of shitty in-fighting among the protagonists. I mean. It's a movie that's built on not trusting people, but Steve Rogers looked at that and went, NOPE, not on my watch. There was no artificial, stupid drama, just friends taking care of each other and being awesome and I LOVE THAT SO MUCH, HOLY COW. It might have been my favorite part of the movie.

I'm wondering if some bucky scenes were cut

A lot of the time we see a whole lotta extra content for some charaters on the blu-rays

I basically agree with you on everything, one thing I loved was how this film gave me even more love for the more normal heroes, Nat and Steve's friendship was glorious and I loved her little teasing of him the entire film about his love life(or lack thereof).

I liked Bucky well enough in the first one but omg this film, give me more tortured puppy eyed Bucky plz. I have a mighty need. And, and Steve trying so hard to get Bucky to remember him, my feelings.

Sam was brilliant and I need more of him, and a Black Widow movie.

I really enjoyed it, definitely a big improvement over CA1. I laughed. I was sad. I cheered.

I feel like they really nailed Cap's fighting style, and Nat's. It was beautifully filmed and acted. I enjoy that Bucky didn't just immediately get his memory back, and that he did the logical thing of going to the museum afterwards.

I like that they didn't cram in a romance, that they let Cap make friends with everyone and let everyone be such utter badasses.

I am not thrilled about Pietro's lack of white-blond hair, but I am resigned to it.

Question that I should know the answer to, but am drawing a blank on: The main Strike Force guy that ended up all burned, but not dead, who is he supposed to be? Or is he an OC? Do you think they didn't specifically say Sharon was Peggy's granddaughter because that's...kind of weird, really, and she works just as well without being so?

Peggy is, I would assume, the aunt* Sharon talks to on the phone when we first see her coming out with her laundry basket. As we didn't get much of Sharon's story (like not even her last name, I would have loved to see Steve's reaction to her name), I would assume that's just a nod to the people who are familiar with the comics.

*Unless it has been officially stated that she is Sharon's grandmother, then idk.

I talked about it when I saw it international release! I still am v. happy about it all, especially how SMART Steve came across as (I get mad when Cap, like Supes, gets the 'well he's just a boy scout all good but not super bright' when, um, they're actually supposed to be really sharp)

I am very mad because in Korea they tend to cut out the final stinger so I only saw the one with Wanda and Pietro. Give me more Bucky and his giant sad cow eyes please.

Why cut it out? It wouldn't make that much difference runtime wise.,
