I would just like to see more diverse animation styles in general. I'm tired of the same old CGI styles. There are so many beautiful and interesting art styles out there and I want to enjoy them all and be surprised by new ones.

Yeah... even though I know there's variety within 3D animation styles somehow they all look basically the same to me, and that sameness is not particularly attractive or interesting (well, same barring stuff like the Final Fantasy animation style which heads for realism). Whereas when I think of 2D animation I think of so many different varieties.
