You're not the only one, OP. The thing about the SJ side of tumblr is that it can be very emotionally draining, and if fandom is supposed to be a fun thing for you to do online, then it's okay not to want to get involved in that side of things.

Also sometimes you follow people who seem cool but then their blogs slowly morph into something you don't want. I remember I followed this person's personal tumblr (we had RPed with each other for a while) and while she was a really good RPer, her personal blog revealed her to be a radical vegan who called omnivores "bloodmouths" and I just couldn't hit "unfollow" fast enough.
