I think CGI animation can be very well done, but I believe it's a bit of a challenge for animators to find that good balance between realistic and cartoony without falling into uncanny valley territory. The way characters were designed in Ratatouille, for example. I really liked those. That being said, I do wish that 2D feature-length animation wouldn't die out in America because that will always be my first love. Thankfully Japan and Europe will probably keep it alive.

On the terribad side of CGI things, there's always Delgo. :D
