How can you hate Belle? She's smart, noble, and genuinely good-hearted. I'm probably biased because I only like two of the regulars anymore and she's one of them, but... she's wonderful.

I like her too. :c *looks at the sea of opposite opinions and scuffs shoe*

I like her accent and the "Rumple" nickname. I find her mannerisms very charming, and this was the first show I ever saw Emilie de Ravin act. I think she's one of the few on the show who seems to figure things out, so she often "rescues" me from the stupidity of the other characters (mostly the fault in the writing, because I'll agree this show isn't well done at all.)

I hate how they don't have her address the issues with Rumplestiltskin, but they do that to EVERY character and its an ongoing frustration. Its almost to the point where I'm glad there isn't so much of Belle, because I feel like the more they try to write for her, the more they'll risk screwing her up entirely.
