The word "meme" itself. I know it existed before internet memes, but I wasn't aware of that for a long time.

The first and so far only time I've heard anyone say "slut shaming" outside of tumblr and feminist blogs was in the Vampire Academy movie, of all places.

Off topic, I hate the practice of "slutshaming" (like who gives a shit about somebody else's sex life and why the hell blah blah) but I also hate the word. It just sounds obnoxious and hall monitory to me ("You there! Slutshaming! To the office!" - what does a hall monitor doooo? i don't know).
