Our local anime & video games convention has an artist's alley, where people can create fanart & make a profit off it.

Last year, someone was selling memes.

Not memes that they'd drawn or painted or anything. Just memes that they'd copied & pasted off the internet & printed out.

People were BUYING THEM.

And that is the story of how I lost the last, vestigial threads of my faith in humanity.
