So, yesterday I had a lousy date. And I missed you guys, but I had to go out and pretend to not be a misanthrope. Then I came back and there was religion troll secrets, and a discussion about weird pairings that started with Kocoum/Thomas and fuck yeah Disney pairings, they're gonna make an appearance in my Disney D.C. AU fic, and a discussion about offensive opinions. And I missed it all. :(

Curious, what happened on the date that made it lousy?

It was just really awkward. He didn't talk much and there were loooooooooong stretches of silence and one word answers. Not the worst date I've ever had, but it sure wasn't the best.

Then I got back and was like, 'oh, crack Disney pairings. Wank. Dammit.'

Hey, if it's any consolation I'm in a different time zone. I'm up in the middle of the night here. ;)

Trust me, the religion wank has been 100% trainwrecks 100% of the time. I posted one (not all of them --- I think there are two of us?) of the religion secrets a while back that I think got this whole uproar started.

This is going to sound terrible, but the trainwreck part is part of what makes it interesting.

But I like train wrecks! I was reading through that thread like, 'so many targets and now it's too late!' ;(

Also, Disney D.C AU fic? Featuring Those Two Guys *wink wink* ? You have piqued my reading interest.

Honestly, I thought Those Two Guys were a helluva lot more interesting than the leads. TTG had flaws and wants and dreams and one was a hardcore warrior who never smiled, and the other was an economically disadvantaged teenager who kills someone. Pocahontas and John Smith spent the whole movie communing with nature and singing about their love for one another.

I feel that about most f!s threads these days. I love my job and wouldn't change a thing about it, but man does it suck getting here late everyday. Most threads are over by the time I can first access them on my phone let alone my computer.
