"No, obviously the Time Lords have programmed the TARDIS always to return to Earth. It seems that I'm some kind of a galactic yo-yo."

Third Doctor, The Claws of Axos. Showed a lot of his mix of exasperation, humour and bitterness, I think.

Blake: "Does it support any intelligent life?"
Avon: "Does the Liberator?"

Avon is basically the best source of these in Blake's 7, though Vila, Dayna, Zen and Orac get in a few good ones too. I like this one though because he legitimately does think they're all idiots. The fact that he's almost died for quite a few of them is incidental.

"You are a drug dealer. To tiny fairies. Shame."

Dresden Files, Sanya to Harry Dresden. Because it shows how hilariously capable of rolling with things Sanya is, how genuinely bizarre some of Harry's solutions look to other people, and how very much Harry doesn't tend to realise that.

"On your trip back I'd like you to take your time to learn the Babylon 5 mantra. Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recommendations. Ivanova is God. And, if this ever happens again, Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out. Babylon Control out. Civilians."

Susan Ivanova, Babylon 5. Because there will never be a better explanation of her character, or why I love her so damned much.

Favorite Sanya quote, talking to Harry about him sleeping with Mab.

"So. Mab. You hit that. You tapped that ass. Presumably, it was phat."

This reminds me, I seriously need to do a B5 rewatch.

That is my favorite B5 quote, ever. And one I have repurposed when ripping into my dear partner for some boneheaded move that I had warned them about and they blissfully ignored. We are actually about to go through and watch B5, I'm sure they'll recognize the quote when they get to that scene as they've heard it enough times. *cough*
