I don't care about fanservice so long as it's not random and invasive, dropped into completely unrelated circumstances. During a sexy or flirtatious scene is one thing, but a panty shot in the middle of a murder or half of a casual conversation filmed from the angle of a character's ass is just...why? It makes me resentful not because oh no sex, but because it kicks me out of the narrative for no reason. But when the momentary or entire narrative itself is about fanservice? That's totally cool.
