Hawkeye (MCU version at least) and Widow are boring as fuck.

Yeah, I am not a fan of either. Especially Renner's Hawkeye. Maybe if he has a bigger role? But in Avengers he was terrrriiiibbbllleeeeee.

And Black Widow is just meh? I guess it is part of the character (I have not read the comics) but she is just so wooden and monotone.

I'm not the OP, nor have I commented in this thread until now, and I find Black Widow to be mediocre at best, and I can't stand Hawkeye at all. So yeah, it's not all that shocking that more than one person have similar, unpopular views. Although unlike the OP I'd actually like a good Black Widow movie to change my mind about her and make me like her more, but I can't imagine such a thing happening.

I can't speak for the OP and I don't think they're *offensively* horrible but I do think the affection for the characters is just mystifying. They seem like they have the personality of coat racks (ScarJo's a bit better, in my opinion, but still seems pretty vacant to me).

I think it's fair not to get why other people like a character, but the level of vitriol in the secret just seems ridiculous.
