Naruto. Motherfucking Naruto.

I like the characters and the story, and the animation, but the show is so fucking awfully paced. I watched the start of Shippuden recently, and that fight between Sasori and Sakura took so many episodes to play out, had SO FUCKING MANY flashbacks to the same fucking scene, and had so precious little actually happen. WHY SO MUCH TALKING?!?! GET OVER THERE AND TWAT HIM ONE!

Manga is faster paced, though at the time when I was reading it, it felt slow as fuck...but that was due to the posting schedule.

Yeah, but I like watching stuff. I have a bit of a hard time following manga panels. I mean I can, but I can much easier follow the action in anime.

I just wish it could be more like Black Lagoon or something.

Pretty much this. Started with the manga, tried to switch to the anime once... oh god, so many fucking flashbacks. I mean, the manga had them too, but at least you could skim/it didn't spend and an entire episode flashingback to repeat clips.

Don't bother with the anime if you can't stand flashbacks. There's also a shit ton of padfing and filler. A few of the filler epidodes are enjoyable.

And with how terrible and how big of a clusterfuck the manga has become, you're better off sticking to fanfic imo.
