"I'll want to read or watch anything I incorporate into my fic."

Shouldn't you come up with your own ideas, instead of plagiarizing from someone else?

AYRT--I'm writing a crossover fanfic, so not exactly? The canon I'm working from is Once Upon a Time--basically a gigantic crossover fanfic in itself. If Belle from Beauty and the Beast wants to bring her lover Rumpelstiltskin's grown son back from the dead, with the help of her step-grandson, who is also the grandson of Snow White and Prince Charming and adopted son of the Evil Queen--all those relationships are canon in the show, btw--how can I possibly make the show campier or more derivative? Dr. Frankenstein, The Wicked Witch of the West and the Wizard of Oz, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and Mulan are all running around as well.

Since the show is broadcast on ABC, which is owned by Disney, it's possible that characters from Star Wars, Marvel Comics, and Tron will show up on the actual TV show. Honestly, I doubt I can make the source material any less original. The only originality on the show itself is created by the show writers exploring the relationships between the characters. They don't always do it well, and I'm not expecting to improve on their efforts, I'm just writing this for fun. If you just want to be angry at my unoriginality, I suppose I can't stop you.

da - You obviously don't write/read much, or you'd know how silly the concept of coming up with original ideas is.
