It is a children's show.

I liked it because it was a slice of happiness in a time that wasn't so happy for me. I'm not a mega fan and never will be, but it cheered me up. I also like that their is a core female cast and that friendship is very big in the series. There need to be more female driven shows for children.

Why do bronies like it on the other hand? The internet knows and it's a dark dark path.

Same for me. I found the show when I was in a pretty dark place and it was just what I needed to get a little life back in me.
