I wish I'd known the power supply I got for my computer had a bad reputation for quality before I bought it. After the fiasco with the case (mid-towers are fucking huge, I'm not moving a family in there), I don't have the money to keep wasting buying useless parts. And at least I can invest that tower into a future build, but a shit PSU is really only good for the trash. Ugh.

That EggXpert page is what first clued me in to my shitty PSU. It's been down for like a week for unknown reasons, but I got most of the info I needed and I'm sticking with Corsairs from now on. Even their cheapo CX line was much higher tier than what I have now.

EDIT: Oh, wait, I read too fast, that new page is a complete copy of the old one. Thank you so much!

NP. Models my family has had good luck with so far include a Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 RS620-SPM2E3-US 620W, a Corsair CXM series CX600M 600W ATX12V v2.3, and an OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W. Good luck finding one that works better for you!
