They certainly made it seem as though he's working for HYDRA, and I could buy it given his history with Garret but I really doubt the show is going there for real and it's probably a fake-out, which is a shame because it made Ward much more interesting.

... I am way behind on SHIELD but am not spoilers adverse (in fact, rather the opposite), and holy shit have I got to get caught up because this sounds awesome.
